We strive to assist children in the development of their faith in Christ by providing a safe and nurturing environment. We encourage parents to see the importance of their role in regular church school attendance for the spiritual education of their children.

Dear Church Family,
There is a sense of anticipation in our church right now. We are looking forward to Sunday School starting, music programs beginning, and hopefully getting closer to welcoming a new pastor!
Sunday School will begin at 10:00 am on September 19th. We offer Sunday School for children beginning at age 3 and continuing through adults. For the children this year, we will have the following age groupings and teachers:
Preschool –Bev Loesche and Valerie Virgilio
Kindergarten/First Grade-Brian and Leslie Kingston and Lynn LaRocca
Second Grade-Lisa Harper and Deb Wolbach
Third Grade-Susan Archibald and Ted and Tracey Greiner
Fourth and Fifth Grade-Chip and Linda Huston and John Ryan
We will be holding a special Teacher Dedication on Sunday, September 26th at the 9 and 11 worship services. At this time, all teachers in our congregation will receive a blessing and an opportunity to reinforce their commitment to their teaching ministry.

Sunday School Beginning with 3 years old and continuing through 5th Grade, Sunday School is offered at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday mornings. Classes are divided by age/grade beginning with the 3 year-olds, PreK, Kindergarten, and First through Fifth Grades. We use the Rock Solid Curriculum from Cokesbury. This curriculum offers age appropriate opportunities for your child to explore the Bible through music, crafts, drama and stories.
Vacation Bible School
Vacation Bible School is a fun and educational opportunity for the children of our church and our community. The fun begins at 9:00 a.m. and runs until Noon for children 3 years old and potty trained through rising 6th Graders.
Childcare
We encourage families to worship together. Staffed childcare is offered during worship for children 5 and under. We also offer childcare during Sunday School for children 2 years old and under. We have two bright large rooms with developmentally appropriate toys and activities for your child.
More Fun!
Third Grade Bible Event - All of our Third Grade Children receive their own Bible on a special Sunday in October with the following Wednesday night dedicated to exploring their new Bibles.
Advent Family Fun Day - The first Sunday of Advent is celebrated church wide by creating crafts, pictures, floral arrangements and baked goods to be shared with your family and friends.
Ash Wednesday Family Service - Children and parents are invited to participate in activities and worship to better understand the meaning of Ash Wednesday.
Easter Egg Hunt - The Saturday before Easter, we hold an Easter Egg Hunt on our grounds. Rain or shine!
Worship Bags - During worship in the sanctuary, special bags are provided with activities and books to help children learn more about worship.
(New Mission COMING SOON!) Mission Emphasis in 2009-2010 Worship Year
All of our children’s offering goes to a dedicated mission project. This year we plan to give our offering to the Presbyterian Children’s Village. The children will be given the opportunity to see how their money can make a concrete contribution to the lives of others. Local Outreach
